High School

Our high school program is built around academics, post-secondary readiness, and social/emotional learning. Specialized teachers, student accommodations, and small class sizes contribute to student success.

Academics

Specialized instruction is designed to meet the individual needs of our students. All students are challenged to discover and utilize their unique strengths to reach their potential. Diploma options include a regular High School diploma, Alternate Academic diploma, and Special Education diploma. Each student has an individualized learning plan (ILP) developed in partnership with parents to address unique learning needs.

Post-Secondary Readiness

An emphasis on readiness for life after Concord includes individualized transition plans for all high school students. Transition services assist our students in preparing for the future and include job skills and life skills, resumes, job applications, mock interviews and internships, college planning, and applications, understanding their own disabilities and learning self-advocacy skills.

Social/Emotional Learning

Character development, relationship building, and social skills are addressed throughout the student experience. Therapy services are available on-site through community partnerships, and a staff licensed behavior analyst works with individuals and groups of students to promote positive peer relationships and interpersonal communication skills.
